Law

What is the law? Well that depends on two things: The date on your calendar and your location on the planet. Nothing more

Blacklpool, England:

Padiham man in court accused of intentionally infecting two women with the AIDS virus
A MAN has made his first appearance at court charged with causing grievous bodily harm to two women by giving them the AIDS virus.

Thirty-year-old Aaron John Sutcliffe was sent for trial at Crown Court by magistrates at Blackpool.

Sutcliffe faces two allegations of unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm on the two women from Fleetwood by having sex with them knowing he carried the virus.

California, USA:

Knowingly exposing others to HIV will no longer be a felony in California
Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill Friday that lowers from a felony to a misdemeanor the crime of knowingly exposing a sexual partner to HIV without disclosing the infection.

The measure also applies to those who give blood without telling the blood bank that they are HIV-positive.
